War Games: The Amarr Change Tactics

The Minmatar/Amarr warzone has been eerily quiet the last few days—a stark change from the 50+ Amarr gangs we’ve seen roaming around during the week. Some have speculated that the quietness is due to Delve2012, considering that a large number of Fweddit’s pilots have Test Alliance mains.

However, as we took four systems July Fourth, and another yesterday with nearly no fight-back from the Amarr, it’s becoming clear that something else entirely is afoot.

Rumors have begun to fly, and with an influx of jump freighter sightings, odd fleet movements, and various Amarr groups flipping to the Caldari, it is now rumored that the Amarr are planning a mass exodus into Gal/Cal space in order to help the Caldari take higher warzone control tiers.

The plan actually makes sense. The Caldari are known for their rather absurd plexing power. Add that with the Amarr pvp numbers we’ve been seeing around, and the Gallente will be hard pressed to defend their space alone. Many more will probably jump ship and join the Minmatar, taking advantage of high warzone control tiers the Minmatar can provide for ISK making purposes.

We will then have a completely polarized warzone, with the Caldari controlling the Gal/Cal side and maintaining high control tiers, and the Minmatar controlling the Amarr/Min side with their own high control tiers. With ISK rolling in on both sides, the resulting Minmatar/Caldari warfront could be the biggest, bloodiest battlefield Faction War has yet to face.

Of course, time will tell what the entirety of their plan is, and how successful it is. An attempted cooperative effort of this magnitude would be impressive, but it could also backfire.

  2. Oh interesting! If both sides get their LP easily and low prices, then they can fight each other in either warzone, with very little plexing, for max profits!

    2. No I log in to change skills right now. Cause while i was recuperating at my parents house someone said something very similar to what you just said to me. I had no access to being able to play the game for about a 2 months and this person said basically I'm not allowed to talk about the game cause I haven't logged in since the patch. Even though I physically couldn't and was using my phone to browse the web and stay connected.

Get bent Gald, your not just a troll with this. Your just a bad person.

  5. "he resulting Minmatar/Caldari war front could be the biggest, bloodiest battlefield Faction War has yet to face." When both sides are 20 jumps apart just to the edges of the war zones you expect there to be a bloody war zone? Are you really that stupid or do you actually put in effort to not see the problems with that?

FW works because 3 guys can do a couple jumps and find a couple other guys doing the same. Moment you have to do 20 jumps just to maybe find a fight, you'll be scouted and countered before you've finished traveling. Expecting the same levels of PVP from two Militia's so far apart is retarded. Or are you living in a world were All of Amarr head to Caldari while also moving to Tuo-Mota so you have close at hand wts as well?

  7. Susan, when you are in fleet turn up to the fight, otherwise you're just a millstone no-one wants to listen to.

  8. Probably something more unlikely would be actually coordinating a organized attack/defence with the gal, since minnie cant even do it on our own. note the word organized.
Late night alliance flops its way into fights; im a minnie and i can honestly say if it hasnt been for iron oxide fleets and the corp im in in LNA i wud've joined fweddit simply because they truly play for fun. LNA and your group of guys need to wake up, form a leadership, wuit the ego and make it so that FW minnie actually becomes fun.

    1. the no real fc, flop into fights thing seems to be working... LNA gets a lot of kills. Takes part in fights. Has fun, too! Not sure why they need to wake up and form a leadership. Leadership is work and who wants to work at your spaceship game? Not LNA. If the way they do things is so bad, why are they winning? Heck, if you thing flying with LNA is not fun, then don't do it; most likely the other people there actually having fun don't like you anyway :P
