“Criminals are not Welcome Here.”

I’m officially a pirate.

I kind of procrastinated on it, slowly working my way there ship kill after ship kill, not really certain if I really wanted to go that route. For the past week or so I’ve been hovering right around -4.5.

“Do it, Susan!” a corpmate of mine has been encouraging. Apparently, it’s a freeing sensation because once you ‘go there’ you can shoot anything and everything without remorse or second thoughts.

I’m pretty sure this particular corpmate got sick of me procrastinating. One day, We shot a neutral in a safe spot. When his ship popped, my corpmate grabbed his pod.

“I have a point on the pod, if you want to get on it Susan.”

I knew this would definitely push me into the realm of piracy-hood.

“Uh…no. You go ahead, it will take me forever to lock anyway.”

“No, no really, Susan. Take your time locking. It’s not going anywhere.”

I’m pretty sure he knew exactly what he was doing when he said that. I also knew that I was going to be going that route eventually, so I might as well jump in. I popped the pod in one volley, setting me to -5.49.

….three days later:
“Here, fishy, fishy. Look at me all red and flashy on this gate. An evil pirate whom it’s your civil duty to kill. Friends? Do you see any of my friends? No, they are all asleep in their little pirate beds. You can kill me easy, and run away, boasting to your friends how you rid the world today of one more dirty pirate. Come on fishy, fishy…just….a little….closer.”
